Polycarbonate sheeting is used in the building and construction industries in a wide variety of applications including polycarbonate roof panels, greenhouse roof panels, cladding and for other forms of insulation and protection.

Polycarbonate roof panels

Polycarbonate roof panels are ideal for certain types of roofing where there is a need for resistance to weather and flame retardance. Polycarbonate roof panels are 250 times more resistant to shock than glass and 20 times more than PMMA. Multi-wall plastic sheets are easy to assemble, aesthetically pleasing and have excellent fire resistance as they are flame retardant.

The Akyver® family of multi- and twin-wall polycarbonate sheets is a wide range of polycarbonate roof panels designed to suit specific applications such as greenhouse roof panels. When used as greenhouse roof panels Akyver® facilitates the water flow from condensation as well as maintaining high levels of transparency.

Polycarbonate plastic sheets or polycarbonate roof panels also offer real benefits for the construction of false ceilings. Corrugated plastic sheeting is flexible, light and durable which makes it popular for use in building and construction.

As cladding, Akylux® and Correx twin-wall structured sheets are easy to convert. They can be cut or creased, welded or stapled giving buyers in the building and construction industries a wide range of options. This type of corrugated plastic sheeting is also suitable for formworks, partitions and industrial flooring systems.

Kaysersberg Plastic’s polycarbonate sheets are a type of corrugated plastic sheeting with enduring appeal to all kinds of users. The polycarbonate roof panels and greenhouse roof panels have proved especially successful in this competitive market.
